►Itinerary
Your tour begins with pickup from your Beijing hotel at 8:00am. On the way to The Mutianyu Great Wall, if time allows, you are able to stop to take photos at the Bird's Nest– the Beijing National Stadium, where hosts many spectacular events of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Once arrive at Mutianyu Great Wall, you’ll enjoy a less hurried experience and take time to marvel at this wondrous structure and the surrounding hillsides. Hiking up and down for about 2 hours. You can choose to ride the chairlift to Tower 6, returning by toboggan, or take the cable car to Tower 14 (recommended for those nervous of heights).
After visiting the Great Wall, stop to enjoy lunch (included) at a local restaurant and sample some typical Chinese cuisine, then return to Beijing to visit the Summer Palace. Spend the rest of the afternoon at the Summer Palace, a well-preserved royal garden. It has been listed in the World Heritage Sites and considered as one of the most classical gardens of the world.
