Beijing Capital International Airport situated in Shunyi District,35 kilometers(20 miles) northeast of downtown Beijing.It is the second largest airport in the world andwas the second busiest airport in the world in 2014.
There are 3 terminals for different airlines.Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 quite close to each other and connect inside.
Terminal 3, the second largest terminal in the world,was constructed before 2008 Beijing Olympics Games.It is about 8 kilometers(4.5 miles) away from Terminal 2.Free shuttle bus available between the terminals.wwww
The central government has approved the construction plan for a new international airport in Beijing that will enable the capital to handle 72 
million more passengers each year.
It will be located 46 kilometers south of Tian'anmen Square in Daxing District, and is expected to become operational in 2018.

The airport express connects subway at Sanyuanqiao and Dongzhimen Subway stations,where are transfer stations you can take subway to your destination.The Airport Express costs RMB25(USD4.2) one way.

There are 9 different shuttle bus routes to the downtown Beijing costs RMB16(USD2.7) per way.
Beijing Airport Taxi:

From the airport to downtown Beijing by taxi costs around RMB100-150 (USD16-25) by meter.There are plenty of taxis there and airport staff will help you catch one.But sometimes you still need wait half hour to get one.
