We hired Kong Lin for a 2 day tour of Beijing and a trip to The Great Wall. He is very knowledgeable and also has a wonderful sense of humor. He knew the best non-touristy eating places and how to avoid long waiting lines at many places we wanted to see. Having a private guide and driver seemed like a luxury but it is truly the BEST way to see Beijing. He saved us a lot of time and even made reservations for us to see an acrobatic show. He met us at our hotel the evening before we were actually doing our guided he tour. He went over all the plans with us and made sure we were doing all of the things on our wish list.

I know he must do the same sites over and over with many tourists but he made us feel like this tour was especially for us and he presented everything with enthusiasm and humor---like it was the first time telling these stories.

I would highly recommend KongLin to anyone considering a tour guide in Beijing. Do not try to do this on your own. It is well worth getting a driver and guide and KongLin is your guy!
