We hired Linda as our tour guide and Mr. Chen as our driver, all arranged very easily through emails with Violet. We told them what we wanted to see and they provided us an itinerary that fit our needs and it was still flexible enough for us to change as we wanted.
Linda was excellent and provided us with an good understanding of how the locals live and the history of China and how things are changing. Mr. Chen provided us with door to door service in a clean and air conditioned automobile. Linda and Mr. Chen even when out of their way to take us to one of the local shopping areas and assisted us with translations and making sure that we got a good price for what we wanted to purchase.

I would highly recommend using Linda and Mr. Chen for for your private tour. It is also a lot less expensive than you would think. Well worth every penny.
